Increased our reach through partnerships:
Working in partnership with 33 different organisations across Powys, dealing with 293 formal referrals and combining our skills to achieve positive outcomes more effectively for the people we jointly support.
Partner -” The CAB service is invaluable to staff and to the individuals we support. We often find that when people first reach out to us for support, they are also experiencing an array of other issues including housing, debts and benefit related problems. When individuals are trying to address multiple issues, it can be challenging for workers. Once we have referred to the CAB and know that external factors are being addressed, it enables us as key workers to focus on our primary roles. The positive outcomes achieved with the support of the CAB have a very positive impact on the well-being of those we support.”
Accessible services:
Provided support through a range of channels: telephone, in-person, BSL interpretation & community languages.
Face to face support in 10 different community venues countywide, as well as our office-based locations in Newtown, Brecon and Ystradgynlais.
82% of clients said they felt our service was accessible.
